Apitope is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing antigen-specific immunotherapies to treat autoimmune and allergic diseases. The company utilizes its proprietary Apitope platform to design synthetic peptides that mimic naturally processed T cell epitopes, aiming to restore immune tolerance by specifically targeting the underlying cause of the disease without global immune suppression. Its lead candidate, ATX-MS-1467, has completed Phase 2 clinical trials for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis.
