APL Research Center

APL Research Center is the primary research and development division of Aurobindo Pharma Limited, a leading Indian multinational pharmaceutical company. Originally incorporated as APL Research Centre Limited before being amalgamated into the parent company, the center operates multiple state-of-the-art facilities in Hyderabad and Sangareddy, India. The center employs over 700 scientists and covers more than 13,000 square meters, focusing on organic synthesis, analytical research, dosage form development, pharmacology, bio-equivalence studies, and advanced drug delivery systems. It serves as the scientific backbone for Aurobindo's extensive portfolio of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and generic formulations across key therapeutic areas such as cardiovascular, central nervous system, oncology, and anti-infectives.
