Apollo Medical Extrusion is a medical device components and contract manufacturing company focused on advanced medical tubing, catheter shafts, steerable catheters, and related extrusion-based products for the medical device industry. The company built its reputation around quick-turn, tight-tolerance single-lumen and multilumen extrusion, thin-wall tubing, braided shafts, and coil-reinforced tubing used in interventional and vascular devices. Apollo was founded in Utah and later became part of Spectrum Plastics Group; its Sandy, Utah operation has been described as the former Apollo headquarters and a center for advanced extrusion and catheter manufacturing capabilities.
