Company intelligence / Profile preview
Applied Immune Therapies (AIT) was an Israeli biotechnology company that pioneered the development of TCR-like (TCRL) antibodies to target intracellular antigens. By engineering antibodies to recognize specific peptide-MHC complexes, AIT's technology allowed for the targeting of a broad range of intracellular proteins that are typically invisible to conventional antibody-based drugs. The company was founded based on research from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and was acquired by Adicet Bio in January 2016. Following the acquisition, AIT's operations were integrated into Adicet as its Israeli subsidiary, where its platform continues to support the development of next-generation allogeneic gamma-delta T-cell therapies.
