Applisonix

Applisonix was an Israeli medical aesthetics company that developed ultrasound-based hair removal devices for professional cosmetic use. Its lead product was the Selectif/Selectif Pro system, which used the company's proprietary IMPRESA ultrasound technology to deliver energy through the hair shaft to the follicle for long-term hair removal. The company was founded in the mid-2000s under the Ma'ayan Technology Ventures incubator and raised venture financing before pursuing a public listing in Israel. Applisonix later ceased operating as an independent company following a reverse-merger transaction with EndyMed, and the public entity continued under the EndyMed name. Historically, Applisonix sat at the intersection of healthcare equipment, medical aesthetics, and dermatology-focused device development.
