Apptis

Aptis is a South Korean biotechnology company specializing in the development of next-generation antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) through its proprietary Ap-Click platform. The Ap-Click technology enables site-selective conjugation of drug payloads to native, non-engineered antibodies, preserving the antibody's original structure and improving the homogeneity and stability of the resulting ADC. The company's lead therapeutic candidate, AT-211, is an ADC targeting Claudin 18.2, currently being developed for the treatment of gastric and pancreatic cancers. Beyond its internal pipeline, Aptis leverages its platform to provide linker-payload technologies for various oncology applications. In December 2023, the company was acquired by Dong-A ST, which intends to utilize Aptis as a core pillar for its expansion into the global ADC market.
