Overview
Aptacure’s lead program Apc001 is a nucleic acid aptamer targeting sclerostin, developed for rare bone diseases such as osteogenesis imperfecta and X-linked hypophosphatemia. Apc001 has received Orphan Drug Designation and Pediatric Rare Disease Designation from the US FDA. The company is preparing to launch clinical trials in China and the US in 2024. Preclinical toxicology studies are ongoing, with pilot-scale production completed[2][4][9]. The second program, Apc002, targets DKK1 for oncology indications including bone metastasis and gastrointestinal cancers; it remains in early discovery/preclinical phase[4][7].
