DailyMed utilized a proprietary system to organize medications into pre-sorted pouches, specifically targeting patients with complex chronic conditions. Despite its national footprint, the company faced significant financial restructuring in the early 2010s. In 2012, its home care assets were acquired by Addus HomeCare for approximately $30.6 million, while its pharmacy business was sold to Walgreens.
