ArcherDX is a genomics and molecular diagnostics company focused on precision oncology and cancer research tools. The company built a targeted next-generation sequencing platform based on Anchored Multiplex PCR (AMP) chemistry and associated bioinformatics software for detection of known and novel gene fusions, sequence variants, copy number changes, and other tumor biomarkers. Its product portfolio has included FusionPlex, VariantPlex, LiquidPlex, Immunoverse, custom assay design, and companion diagnostic development services. ArcherDX was acquired by Invitae in October 2020, and parts of its research assay portfolio were later sold by Invitae to Integrated DNA Technologies in December 2022. The business has been associated with commercial oncology testing, liquid biopsy, and translational research applications.
