Archifar

Archifar is an Italian pharmaceutical company specializing in the development and manufacture of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), with a historical focus on beta-lactam antibiotics, particularly cephalosporins. Founded in 1966 and headquartered in Rovereto, Italy, the company provides contract manufacturing services and high-quality chemical synthesis for the global pharmaceutical industry. In 2007, Archifar was acquired by Gnosis S.p.A., which subsequently became part of the Lesaffre Group. Today, the Rovereto site continues to operate as a key manufacturing facility within the Gnosis by Lesaffre network, leveraging its expertise in complex chemical processes and GMP-compliant production. The facility is recognized for its adherence to international quality standards, including approvals from the FDA and other major regulatory bodies.
