Archus Orthopedics

Archus Orthopedics developed novel reconstructive spinal implants—most notably the Total Facet Arthroplasty System™ (TFAS™)—to treat degenerative facet joint disease and spinal stenosis. The company achieved significant clinical milestones including FDA IDE approval for pivotal US trials and CE Marking for European commercialization. Over one hundred patients were implanted with TFAS™, showing clinically significant improvements with durable results over two years. The product line included next-generation devices such as TFAS-LS™, expanding applications to lumbosacral levels. In addition to its own clinical programs, Archus was acquired by Facet Solutions, consolidating intellectual property portfolios.
