Arcora Foundation

Arcora Foundation is a Seattle-based non-profit organization and the foundation of Delta Dental of Washington, dedicated to advancing oral health equity across Washington state. Originally founded in 1985 as the Washington Dental Service Foundation, the organization rebranded in 2017 to better reflect its mission of 'bending the arc of oral health toward equity.' The foundation focuses on preventing oral disease and increasing access to dental care, particularly for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities who face significant health disparities. Key initiatives include DentistLink, a referral service connecting people to dental care; SmileMobile, a mobile dental clinic; and advocacy for community water fluoridation and medical-dental integration. Arcora partners with dental and medical professionals, policymakers, and community organizations to transform health systems and improve overall well-being through better oral health.
