Arkansas Epilepsy Program

The Arkansas Epilepsy Program (AEP) is a private comprehensive epilepsy clinic and clinical research center located in Little Rock, Arkansas. Founded in 1994 by Dr. Victor Biton, the program is one of the state's most established facilities for the specialized diagnosis and management of seizure disorders. AEP provides a full suite of diagnostic services, including in-house and ambulatory video-EEG monitoring, and offers treatments ranging from pharmacological management to the programming of neurostimulation devices like Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS). The center is also a significant contributor to the field of epilepsy research, serving as a site for numerous Phase II-IV clinical trials evaluating next-generation antiepileptic medications and therapeutic devices. Through its multidisciplinary team, the program aims to improve the quality of life for patients with refractory epilepsy.
