ArmorUp for LIFE

ArmorUp for LIFE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit advocacy and support organization dedicated to improving outcomes for cancer patients, particularly those in underserved communities. Founded by Emmy Award-winning journalist and two-time cancer survivor Loriana Hernández Aldama, the organization promotes 'PREhab' (prehabilitation)—the practice of building physical and mental resilience before and during treatment. ArmorUp for LIFE provides educational resources, patient navigation, and community support to help individuals navigate the healthcare system and reduce risk factors that complicate oncology care. The organization collaborates with major pharmaceutical companies and academic institutions to amplify patient voices and address health disparities. Through its programs, ArmorUp for LIFE aims to empower patients to become their own heroes in their health journeys.
