Arnett Health Plans was a regional health insurance provider based in Lafayette, Indiana, originally serving as the managed care arm of the Arnett Clinic. The company provided a range of health maintenance organization (HMO) and preferred provider organization (PPO) products to commercial groups and individuals throughout North Central Indiana. In 2008, Arnett Health Plans was acquired by UnitedHealthcare, a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group, as part of a strategic expansion in the Indiana market. The acquisition integrated Arnett's local provider-aligned insurance model into UnitedHealthcare's national infrastructure, eventually leading to the rebranding of its services.
