Arrinex developed the ClariFix cryoablation device to treat chronic rhinitis by targeting the posterior nasal nerve. Multiple clinical trials demonstrated safety and efficacy of this minimally invasive approach. The company was acquired by Stryker in early 2019 to expand Stryker’s ENT portfolio. The ClariFix system has been commercialized for treating chronic rhinitis; additional work on therapies for minor symptomatic nasal septal deviation has been reported.
