Company intelligence / Profile preview
Arrowhead Hospital was an acute care hospital in Glendale, Arizona, serving the local community with inpatient and outpatient healthcare services. The facility opened in 1988 and later became part of a larger hospital network after Arrowhead Hospital and Phoenix Baptist were acquired by Vanguard Health Systems in 1999. Vanguard subsequently formed Abrazo Health Care as its Arizona subsidiary in 2003, and Vanguard itself was acquired by Tenet Healthcare in 2013. The hospital is now commonly operated and branded as Abrazo Arrowhead Campus rather than as an independent company. It is a healthcare delivery asset rather than a biotech, pharma, or life sciences drug-development company.
