ART-ER Attractiveness Research Territory

ART-ER Attractiveness Research Territory is the Emilia-Romagna region’s joint stock consortium company dedicated to fostering sustainable growth through the development of innovation, knowledge, internationalization, and attractiveness. It was formed by merging ASTER and ERVET. While it does not develop drugs or therapies directly, ART-ER plays a central role in coordinating regional clusters—including Clust-ER Health—and supporting research infrastructure for biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, biomedical devices, regenerative medicine, omic sciences, digital health technologies and more. It manages projects involving laboratory construction for pharmacy and biotechnology departments, organizes major bioeconomy events, supports startups, facilitates academic-industry partnerships, and helps drive the competitiveness of Emilia-Romagna’s health industries.
