ART International

ART International is a non-profit organization dedicated to the training, research, and dissemination of Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence-based psychotherapy for mental health conditions. Developed in 2008, ART utilizes a combination of relaxation techniques and voluntary memory visualization, often incorporating horizontal eye movements similar to EMDR, to help patients process traumatic memories. The therapy is distinguished by its brevity, typically achieving significant results in one to five sessions, and its non-verbal nature, as patients are not required to recount traumatic details aloud. ART International provides certification and advanced training for licensed mental health professionals and supports clinical research to expand the therapy's application to conditions such as persistent grief and substance use disorders.
