Overview
Developed a bioresorbable polymer stent designed to promote natural arterial remodeling post angioplasty. Achieved CE Mark clearance for its next-generation device in 2015. In vivo and in vitro data demonstrated the scaffold’s ability to dismantle over an optimized time horizon and support natural healing without permanent metallic implants. The company reported positive preclinical and clinical results prior to acquisition by Terumo. As of acquisition date (2014), the company had reached significant clinical milestones but was not yet commercial. No recent updates post-acquisition.
