Articulus Bio

Articulus Bio was a private, development-stage orthopedic medical device company based in Boulder, Colorado focused on next-generation total joint replacement. Its core technology, the Tendonoid Web Joint, was designed to reduce polyethylene wear debris and friction at articulating joint surfaces, a major cause of orthopedic implant failure. The company's lead application was a total ankle replacement device, with additional planned applications in cervical and lumbar artificial disc implants and potentially other joints. Articulus Bio raised seed financing from AngelMD in early 2018 to support device development, FDA Q-Submission planning, and intellectual property expansion. Available sources indicate the company later ceased operations and its Colorado entity was voluntarily dissolved.
