Company intelligence / Profile preview
Arzco Medical Systems was a medical device company specializing in cardiac electrophysiology (EP) products, particularly non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic tools. The company was best known for its Arzco Esophageal Lead, which allows for atrial pacing and recording without the need for invasive catheterization, and its line of cardiac stimulators. These products are primarily used in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias such as atrial flutter and supraventricular tachycardia. In 2004, the company's assets were acquired by Astro-Med (now AstroNova), and the product line was subsequently transitioned to Natus Medical following a later divestiture. Today, the Arzco brand remains a recognized name in the electrophysiology market for specialized esophageal pacing and sensing equipment.
