Aspectrics, Inc. was a developer of advanced spectroscopy instruments designed for real-time chemical analysis and process monitoring in industrial environments. Founded in 2000 and based in Pleasanton, California, the company pioneered patented Encoded Photometric Infrared (EP-IR) and Near-Infrared (EP-NIR) technologies. These systems provided a robust and high-speed alternative to traditional Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, capable of performing up to 100 scans per second. Aspectrics' analyzers were utilized across various sectors, including pharmaceuticals, biofuels, petrochemicals, and environmental monitoring, to ensure quality control and regulatory compliance. The company's flagship products included the MultiComponent 2750 NIR Process Analyzer and the MC5000A EP-IR analyzer. Aspectrics was eventually acquired by Mudlogging Systems, and its technology has been integrated into broader process analytical solutions.
