Assia Chemical Industries is a foundational Israeli pharmaceutical company and a core subsidiary of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries. Established in 1935, it was one of the original entities that merged to form the modern Teva corporation in the 1970s. Today, the company operates primarily under the Teva API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) division, focusing on the large-scale chemical synthesis of drug components. Its main production facility, often referred to as Teva Tech, is located in the Ne'ot Hovav industrial zone and is one of the largest API manufacturing sites in the world.
