Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired

Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ABVI) is a Michigan-based nonprofit healthcare and rehabilitation organization serving people with low vision or blindness. Founded in 1913, the organization provides low-vision clinical services, vision rehabilitation, orientation and mobility training, assistive technology training, counseling, job training and employment support, and educational services. ABVI serves more than 1,000 children and adults annually across western Michigan and operates low-vision clinics in Grand Rapids, Holland, and Muskegon. The organization is not a drug-development biotech or pharma company; rather, it is a service provider focused on functional vision support, accessibility, independence, and community inclusion.
