Association of Biotechnology-Led Enterprises

The Association of Biotechnology-Led Enterprises (ABLE) is a prominent non-profit pan-India forum representing the Indian biotechnology sector. Established in 2003, the organization acts as a central advocacy body, collaborating with the Indian government to develop policies that support biopharmaceuticals, agricultural biotechnology, and industrial sectors. ABLE's primary mission is to accelerate the growth of the Indian bio-economy through networking, investment promotion, and international partnerships. Its diverse membership includes over 400 entities, encompassing startups, large domestic firms, multinational corporations, and research institutions.
