Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry

The Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry (ASCO) is the academic leadership organization for optometric education in the United States and Puerto Rico. Representing all accredited optometry programs, ASCO works to advance the quality of optometric education and research to improve public health and vision care. The organization manages the Optometry Centralized Application Service (OptomCAS) and provides essential resources for student recruitment, faculty development, and advocacy. ASCO serves as a central hub for collaboration among optometric institutions, ensuring high standards in the training of future eye care professionals.
