Athelas developed an FDA-cleared in-home blood diagnostic device enabling real-time immune system and hematology monitoring from a drop of blood. The company also provided an integrated suite of AI-driven healthcare software tools—including revenue cycle management, EHR extensions, automated documentation ("Scribe"), and remote patient monitoring platforms—serving thousands of healthcare organizations. Its technology improved efficiency for medical practices by automating billing workflows, streamlining insurance claims processing with specialized AI agents, supporting telehealth programs, and empowering chronic disease patients to manage their health at home. As of October 2023, Athelas merged with Commure.
