Atlantic Sweetener Co. was a prominent distributor of nutritive and non-nutritive sweeteners and food ingredients based in Edison, New Jersey. Founded in 1984, the company served a diverse client base across the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries, providing essential ingredients such as sugar, corn sweeteners, and polyols used as excipients. In November 2013, the company was acquired by Batory Foods, a leading national distributor of food ingredients. This strategic acquisition allowed Batory Foods to strengthen its distribution network in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Today, its operations are fully integrated into the Batory Foods portfolio.
