Atlas Medical Software

Atlas Medical Software was a U.S. healthcare software company focused on laboratory outreach, clinical connectivity, and order/result workflow tools for diagnostic laboratories and providers. The company appears to have operated under Atlas Development Corporation and was known for software that helped laboratories manage physician ordering, patient and insurance data cleanup, barcode generation, routing, and result delivery. Atlas Medical was later integrated into Sunquest, and the product line subsequently became part of Clinisys, where the technology continues under the Clinisys Atlas brand. It was not a drug developer or therapeutic biotech company, but a commercial healthcare IT vendor serving clinical laboratory operations.
