Company intelligence / Profile preview
ATMI LifeSciences was a global leader in the development and commercialization of single-use bioprocessing systems and storage solutions for the life sciences industry. The company's portfolio included innovative technologies such as the Integrity line of single-use mixers, bioreactors, and vessels designed to streamline the manufacturing of biologics and vaccines. One of its most significant contributions was the iCELLis bioreactor, a high-density fixed-bed system that has become an industry standard for viral vector production in gene therapy. By focusing on high-purity materials and efficient fluid handling, ATMI helped reduce cross-contamination risks and operational costs for biopharmaceutical manufacturers. In February 2014, the division was acquired by Pall Corporation for approximately $185 million and was subsequently integrated into Pall's bioprocessing business.
