Reltecimod showed positive effects on resolution of organ dysfunction in Phase 3 ACCUTE trial for patients with necrotizing soft tissue infection. In the clinically evaluable analysis, 52.6% of patients treated with Reltecimod achieved clinical success on the NICCE primary endpoint compared to 40.3% in the placebo arm (P=0.039). 70.9% of patients treated with Reltecimod achieved resolution of organ dysfunction by day 14 compared to 53.4% for placebo (P=0.005). However, in the modified intent to treat population, Reltecimod did not achieve statistically significant clinical success compared to placebo (48.6% vs 39.9%, P=0.14).
