Auriphex Biosciences

Auriphex Biosciences was a private biotechnology and diagnostics company focused on purification and genetic analysis of circulating tumor cells for cancer management. The company was founded by AmirAli Talasaz in March 2008 and developed technology intended to enable genomic analysis of tumor-derived cells in blood. Auriphex appears to have operated primarily as an early-stage platform company rather than a clinical therapeutics developer, and no evidence of an independent drug pipeline was identified.
