Aurora Healthcare

Aurora Health Care is a large U.S. not-for-profit integrated health care delivery system serving eastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Founded in 1984, Aurora operates hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, virtual care, behavioral health, primary care, specialty care and research programs rather than a traditional drug-development pipeline. Aurora merged with Advocate Health Care in 2018 to form Advocate Aurora Health, and that organization combined with Atrium Health in 2022 to create Advocate Health; Aurora continues to operate as a regional care delivery brand within Advocate Health. The organization reports 18 hospitals, more than 150 clinics and 70 pharmacies across 30 communities. It is healthcare-related, but it is not a biotech, pharma, or therapeutics company.
