Austin Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit economic development and business advocacy organization serving the Austin, Texas, metropolitan area. While not a life sciences company itself, the Chamber is a critical architect of the region's biotech and healthcare ecosystem through its "Life Sciences & HealthTech" initiative and the "Opportunity Austin" program. It actively recruits major pharmaceutical, medical device, and digital health firms to Central Texas and supports the growth of local startups by facilitating access to capital and talent. The Chamber also fosters strategic collaborations between industry players and academic institutions, most notably the University of Texas at Austin's Dell Medical School, to drive innovation and maintain Austin's position as a premier emerging life sciences hub.
