Austin Emergency Center (AEC) is a network of physician-owned freestanding emergency rooms providing 24/7 emergency medical care in the Austin, Texas metropolitan area. Founded in 2010 by local emergency room physicians, the center offers a full range of emergency services including on-site imaging such as CT scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds, as well as comprehensive laboratory testing. AEC aims to provide high-quality, concierge-level emergency care with significantly shorter wait times than traditional hospital-based emergency departments. The facilities are fully equipped to handle both minor and major medical emergencies for both pediatric and adult patients.
