Australian Research Data Commons

Australian Research Data Commons is an Australian national digital research infrastructure organization that develops and operates data, cloud, and software services for the research community. Formed in 2018 from the merger of ANDS, Nectar, and RDS, ARDC supports researchers with platforms, data discovery tools, cloud computing, identifiers, and skills programs rather than a therapeutic drug pipeline. Its offerings span multiple domains, including health and medical research through initiatives such as the People Research Data Commons and Health Data Australia. ARDC is enabled by the Australian Government’s National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy and works with universities, government agencies, research institutes, and industry partners.
