Company intelligence / Profile preview
Auven Therapeutics Development Switzerland (formerly Celtic Therapeutics Development Switzerland) was the Swiss-based operating and drug development arm of Auven Therapeutics, a global private equity firm that operated with an innovative model combining private equity structure with in-house drug development capabilities. The company managed preclinical and clinical development programs for a diverse portfolio of therapeutic assets, including small molecules and biologics targeting ophthalmic conditions, orphan diseases, and cancer. Its notable pipeline programs included KIACTA (eprodisate) for AA amyloidosis, Seciera (OTX-101) for dry eye disease, and RX-10045 (navamepent) for ocular inflammation. In December 2018, the Swiss entity was officially merged into A.T. Holdings II Sàrl and dissolved, following the divestment of its key assets, such as the sale of Seciera to Sun Pharma and the termination of the KIACTA program.
