Auxillium

Auxilium Pharmaceuticals was a specialty biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing innovative products for urology, sexual health, and orthopedics. The company's flagship product, Xiaflex (collagenase clostridium histolyticum), was the first FDA-approved non-surgical treatment for Dupuytren's contracture and Peyronie's disease. Auxilium also maintained a significant presence in the testosterone replacement therapy market with products such as Testim and Testopel, and marketed the erectile dysfunction drug Stendra. In January 2015, the company was acquired by Endo International for approximately $2.6 billion, integrating its portfolio into Endo's specialty branded segment.
