Avant Genomics

Avant Genomics is a private biotechnology and diagnostics company developing automated sample-preparation systems for liquid biopsy workflows in oncology. The company is focused on standardizing and simplifying a major bottleneck in precision cancer testing by automating front-end laboratory preparation for circulating tumor DNA analysis. Its lead platform, Avant Source, is designed to reduce manual handling, improve DNA yield, and enable more consistent and scalable liquid biopsy testing in clinical and research settings. Avant Genomics was spun out of the University of Virginia and is led by co-founders Rachelle Turiello and Renna Nouwairi in Charlottesville, Virginia.
