Avenir Entreprises was a prominent French private equity and venture capital firm that specialized in providing growth capital and buyout financing to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Originally established as a joint subsidiary of Caisse des Dépôts (CDC) and OSEO, the firm played a significant role in the French innovation ecosystem, particularly within the life sciences, technology, and industrial sectors. In 2013, Avenir Entreprises was integrated into Bpifrance, the French public investment bank, as part of a consolidation of state-owned investment entities.
