Avenir Health

Avenir Health is a private U.S.-based global health organization that develops analytical tools, software, and technical assistance programs for public health policy, planning, costing, monitoring, and evaluation. Rather than operating as a therapeutic drug developer, the organization focuses on HIV/AIDS, family planning, reproductive health, maternal and child health, and infectious disease decision support for governments, donors, and NGOs. Its work centers on computer modeling, resource allocation, economic analysis, and program evaluation, including the well-known Spectrum suite and related applications. Founded in 2006 as Futures Institute and rebranded in 2015, Avenir Health supports global health decision-making by turning epidemiologic and program data into planning and policy insights.
