Company intelligence / Profile preview
Aventis Animal Nutrition was the animal nutrition and feed-additives business of Aventis, focused on commercial nutritional solutions for livestock rather than human therapeutics. The company manufactured and marketed feed additives including methionine, vitamins, enzymes, and specialty nutrition products for poultry, swine, ruminants, and aquaculture. In 2002, following its acquisition by CVC Capital Partners, the business was renamed Adisseo and operated as an independent animal nutrition company. As a result, Aventis Animal Nutrition is best understood as a historical corporate name rather than an active standalone company today.
