Avexxin Oncology

Avexxin Oncology is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing a novel class of small molecule inhibitors targeting the Group IVa cytosolic phospholipase A2 (cPLA2α) enzyme. By inhibiting this key upstream regulator of the inflammatory cascade, the company aims to treat chronic inflammatory diseases and various forms of cancer, including triple-negative breast cancer. Their lead candidate, AVX001, has demonstrated safety and efficacy in Phase 1/2 trials for plaque psoriasis, providing clinical validation for the platform.
