In March 2018, the company formed a strategic partnership with Xanthic Biopharma Inc., which acquired a 45% ownership stake in the business. Following this investment, Avitas CBD Water was rebranded as Xanthic Beverages, and its primary product was renamed Xanthic CBD Water.
