AZ. USL DI CESENA

Azienda Unità Sanitaria Locale (AUSL) di Cesena was a public healthcare organization responsible for the administration and delivery of health services in the Cesena district of Italy. In January 2014, it was integrated into the Azienda USL della Romagna, a larger entity formed by the merger of four local health units. The organization managed the Ospedale Maurizio Bufalini, a major trauma center and hospital in the region, and provided comprehensive medical care ranging from primary health services to specialized clinical research. While no longer an independent legal entity, its facilities continue to serve as key hubs for medical education and clinical trials in collaboration with academic institutions. The merger aimed to optimize resources and improve the quality of care across the Romagna area.
