Azaya developed two nanoparticle-based oncology drugs: * ATI-0918 – a generic liposomal formulation of doxorubicin hydrochloride shown to be bioequivalent to branded products Doxil®/Caelyx® in Europe. * ATI-1123 – a patented nanoparticle-stabilized liposomal formulation of docetaxel that showed positive safety results in Phase I trials involving patients with solid tumors who failed other therapies.

The company’s technology aims to improve safety and efficacy by reformulating existing chemotherapy drugs using their proprietary nanoparticle platforms. After acquisition by Cytori Therapeutics in early 2017, these programs were integrated into Cytori's pipeline with plans for further clinical development and commercialization[1][2][3][5][7][8].
