Company intelligence / Profile preview
Azienda Ospedaliera Ospedali Riuniti Marche Nord was a prominent public healthcare organization located in the Marche region of Italy, serving the northern province of Pesaro and Urbino. The entity was formed by the merger of the San Salvatore Hospital in Pesaro and the Santa Croce Hospital in Fano, providing highly specialized medical and surgical services to a broad catchment area. It functioned as a center for clinical excellence and research, participating in numerous international clinical trials, particularly in oncology, hematology, and cardiology. In January 2023, following a regional healthcare reorganization, the organization was suppressed and integrated into the newly established Azienda Sanitaria Territoriale (AST) Pesaro Urbino. The facilities continue to operate as primary hubs for acute care and specialized medicine under the new administrative structure.
