BakerHicks specializes in integrated engineering consulting—including facility design/build—for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medtech and related industries. The company does not develop drugs or medical products itself but enables commercial-scale production through advanced facility planning/execution using modern technologies like BIM. It has deep expertise supporting cell/gene therapy commercialization projects as well as monoclonal antibody/vaccine/adjuvant production sites among others. Since its founding in England in 1957 it has grown to over a thousand employees across Europe; since being acquired by Morgan Sindall Group plc it operates independently under that umbrella with an active presence especially strong in Switzerland/the UK/EU markets.
