Since its founding in May 2024, Bambusa Therapeutics has rapidly advanced a pipeline of long-lasting bispecific antibodies designed to address unmet needs across multiple immunology and inflammation indications. Its lead candidate, BBT001, entered Phase 1 clinical trials for dermatological conditions by early 2025. A second program, BBT002 (“platform in a molecule”), aims at respiratory, dermatology, and gastroenterology uses. Two additional candidates are advancing toward clinical development for inflammatory bowel disease and rheumatologic diseases. The company raised $90 million Series A funding to support these efforts after an initial $15 million seed round within its first year of operation. No clinical efficacy data have been reported yet.
